So FF14, no spoilers Moon Knight and anxiety maybe!

Well, trusty mug of tea in hand so I thought 💡 let’s write another blog post. Just send it out into the neverending land of internet and enjoy doing it.

A few things I will write about today, my love of Gobbies, Moogles, and really just every cute NPC I come across in FF14. Only got screenies of a few. My love of Heavensward Xpac, also my love of flying, more screenies incoming. I will also tackle my thoughts on Moon Knight as spoiler free as possible, may just end up as one word or sentence! Then Anxiety, maybe, we will see. But drumroll please I said I would provide you cuteness. Cuteness incoming.

FF14….now in my journeys through Eorzea I have come across some delightful make me giggle little groups of NPC’s. Now the moogles….

well ok maybe they aren’t cute in this dungeon but in moghome they are adorable. I just want one lol.

Next up we have this fella, I believe it is a Poroggo. I have probably spelt it all wrong but meh, cuteness incoming.

So i am up to the patches for dragonsong war, thought I would introduce you to my new pal and mount…

we decided to do some treasure maps level 60 ones. There’s a reason Gold is in my name my first map, I got my first portal, and we cleared the entire I believe 6 rooms. We rocked. Screenies incoming of some of our FC treasure hunting, we were like Indiana Jones on Steroids!

it was really good fun, my first time and I loved it.

now onto flying in-game, some of the shots you can get. I keep forgetting to minimise UI so apologies but beautifully created world.

cant say much except omg Oscar Isaac is a genius! I also love the way mental health is portrayed and not run away from. To me I really hope there is going to be a season 2. The last episode EPIC! 😱 That’s all I’m saying on that.

7 and a half years ish!?

Where have you been I hear you cry?

Well I’m back, urgh you really don’t wanna know too much about this time of my life in my first post, trust me. Suffice to say it’s been and still is a roller coaster of emotions.

However December after a massive operation I found a game, I finished with WoW a long time ago. Wildstar ended what feels like eons ago, I found…FF14. I know right? Who would have thought it!

Anyhow here is my main, my dancer extrodinaire. Goldmoon Chaosweaver.

she rocks, I have to get some pics of her in action. Still not worked out how to get rid of hot bars so it’s just the screen, not the same way as wow. The Free Company I’m in who unexpectedly made me part of their council is The Immortals, we are on Spriggan EU. Which is under chaos realm. So this game has been great for my anxiety and getting out of my own head, much needed. Bonus storyline is great. I have even been dungeon running and did a raid well it’s split into 3 raids. I am now about to finish the 2nd expansion, Heavensward but even when I have completed all of them there is still so much to do.

oh oh oh I haven’t even told you the best bit….. The cute little and big creatures I meet along the way, like this moogle.

and of course I had to get this adorable mount that I’m hanging on to dear life for.

Housing updated… Witch Haven

Well as you know I am playing Wildstar and in Wildstar there is housing, this has become very very addictive. I used to have a treehouse on my plot but when F2P came the plots got bigger so I had a rethink. I still have my underground bunker with associated rooms, nothing has changed there but above everything has changed 🙂 Heres some pics.

Wildstar and Venus Rising.

Well hello again, I am back. As you know I have been playing Wildstar, I do not rush to endgame and whenever i get close I worry and re-roll. I know a lot of people wonder why I re-roll or don’t bother pushing to 50 and probably think I am lazy or odd or weird. Well lets be honest I am weird and odd. I do owe an explanation I think. The explanation is I used to max out all my characters, 11 100’s to show for it on WoW but i would hit 100 and get bored, really bored and re-roll. I really do not want to get bored with Wildstar and honestly I do not think I will but that old fear is there 😦  What with housing, rep building, role play and numerous other things there is plenty to do so really I should push that anxiousness aside and get leveling.

So there you have it my damaged psyche is not letting me level lol, I need my guild to kick me up the backside!

So what have I been spending my time doing ingame….. Housing while waiting for F2P, I want to make the most of the subbed leveling bonus, OK and maybe the purchased leveling bonus too so I have just been either in hosing or studying in RL 🙂

What housing I hear you cry, well I created a little home away from home, above I have my peaceful tree house, and hot springs plus my two altars. If you want to visit, it is Brianna Fraser, Dominion Jabbit EU

my favourite thing I have been working on, and my husband also worked his butt off helping me create it is my torture dungeon!

of course you have to have a place to sit back and watch your minions torturing people when you cannot be bothered.

With the addition of F2P about to launch if anyone is thinking of trying out Wildstar and I seriously recommend you do, if you find yourself on EU Jabbit Dominion side and you are looking for an awesome friendly guild who have knowledge of all the games aspects and do not mind the silliest of questions, trust me they don’t I have asked most of them 🙂 come look us up. Ben Nevis…. the plan.

So after my recent trip to Scotland I made a decision, I am going to climb Ben Nevis. This of course has been met by scepticism, understandable considering I am not the fittest 38 yr old, yes I am fat too and I have fibromyalgia and assorted things but it is doable, with preparation. Swimming, stair climbing instead of lifts, more walking. I decided I have to do it before I am 41. So I have 2 years obviously would only be attempting it during summer, so has to be next or following.
It is something I have always wanted to do. Who knows if I manage it next time I might do the three peak challenge. One step at a time though.
It is an estimated 4 hour trek to the top, same back down so tag a couple of extra hours both ways. The views will be incredible.
So now it is blogged about and out there… my plans. And to those who say I shouldn’t or can’t do it… just because I am ill it is not going to rule my life, I still have dreams and they will be fulfilled.

Levelling fun in Wildstar.

So as you all know I have an Esper and that is what I have been levelling recently, well Sunday morning someone in guild was running lowbie  instances to help us lowbies lvl. I was invited along, I was tempted not to go in case I performed rubbish but I bit the bullet and went. I was so glad I did, must admit my guild really are awesome and I would not have seen those instances if it were not for them.

So along the way I took some screenies,
First up we have Tixxy and her minions.

Then we have us (mostly guild group)  at the entrance to Stormtalons lair.

Then there is us fighting a boss, I do love the Esper healing effects.

We run there several times then moved onto a different dungeon that I do not know the name of, I died several times in that one… here’s a couple of screenies.

And of course…. me dead from the swirly things that I couldn’t avoid no matter what.

The guild of course were awesome and didn’t complain about me dying. And I went up 3 and a half levels a lot quicker and more fun than if I had been just questing.

New beginnings.

Well as I said I have a blog up and running devoted to my Chua Esper, http://www.tixxylix.wordpress.com check it out you just might like the little ball of fur.

It’s amazing when playing games how your race/class choices can have an impact on your desire to play those characters. For example Xerenity my Cassian engineer, I will be keeping her but I know deep down I would have wayyy more fun as an Chua Engineer so I will reroll her and have 2 engineers Xerenity for housing and rp purposes.

I decided if you pay to play a game, enjoy the game the way you want to… If you wanna reroll, reroll, it doesn’t hurt anyone. I am not racing to the end game for raiding as that isn’t me. So its time to enjoy the scenery and other bits and bobs the game has to offer. I was gonna roll a medic but keep getting put off by the mid close range playstyle for some reason. So if insomnia or pain keeps me awake tonight… I am sure you will find me on wildstar with a fresh engineer.

Back again…

So as you know I have been delving into Wildstar, I tried Exiles, I just couldn’t get excited about them. Soooo enter Dominion, after trying loads of race class combos I have finally found 2 I love. Tixxy Lix the Chua esper and Xerenity Firefly the Cassian engineer.

So during my travels and searching I have found an awesome guild. http://venusrising.eu/  if you are looking for a good friendly guild on Jabbit Eu Dominion side I suggest looking them up. They also rp so when I have my lore a little more up to date (and a higher lvl character) I look forward to joining in. They are also cool with all the noob questions I have been chucking at them 🙂 and when I entered my first dungeon today no-one yelled when I died lol more than once. It was fun and I would go with them again, I would never have even considered entering a dungeon before meeting these guys. A mixture of my anxiety, feeling like I am crap and useless and not wanting to muck up usually stops me doing a lot of things. It’s why I won’t rp until I am more lore knowledgeable.
Although in wow I used to breeze through and love healing and tanking dungeons and healing raids Wildstar is a whole new beast.

On the rp front I believe my Chua will be fun to rp and tell stories about so I am dedicating a blog to her. More about that later.

Oh and housing, love love love it, I enjoyed it in eq2 and rift but it is so much better in Wildstar.

Seriously if you haven’t got the game GET IT!

Other news… well got another flare which means painful sleepless nights, thank you Wildstar for taking my mind off things.

I have also enrolled in my next uni module, Psychology. Why psychology I hear you ask? Simple it hasn’t got an exam and I hated what I started last year and as it is a bridge to get me to the courses I really want to concentrate on,  it seems a good choice.

I have left Creative writing for next year so I can give it my undivided attention. Who knows Tixxy’s blog might get the creative juices flowing again.

So anyhow, thank you Venus Rising and Bombalurina Jenkins for making my time in Wildstar relaxing and fun, I look forward to many hours of game play in the future… and everyone else….

Hello Wildstar!

Well hello big wide world and hello again to Wildstar.  First let me introduce you to a couple of friends of mine…
Tolkien Moonwhisper and Virae Zarkov.

I decided to resubmit back to Wildstar and after running around trying several classes I have fallen in love with the Esper, Engineer and Medic. I can’t decide on a race for my medic yet though.
I have found a great guild and I am levelling slowly and enjoying myself along the way. I have found the art of dyeing clothes and have always loved costumes, and don’t get me started talking bout housing *drooling*

So my guess this is gonna be what this blog is about for the time being. Well at least it got me writing and visiting here again, what with one thing and another real life took over and it seemed to get forgotten.

So anyhow, keep dropping by for updates on my Esper, Engineer and Medic and who knows maybe I will even dust off fraps and make a few vids although what puts me off is the editing, I am rubbish.

World of Warcraft.

So I have been playing wow again lately and have gone back to my original horde server Chamber of Aspects. It has been good fun, recruit a friend to 85. I have joined a great guild, I won’t mention as I do not have permission yet, but it makes all the difference. So after playing with my photo app thingy I made a homage to my chars.
