Stonehenge, meetings, and choices

Published April 29, 2014 by tenderleaf

So my last two assignments are due, one is reflwctive and due in on Friday the other I had three options, I chose sacred places and stonehenge.  I have until the 22nd of May for that one. Then that will be course done. I am supposed to be picking my next module/module’s tomorrow and I still have no idea whether to do 120 credits starting October or just stick to 60 for that matter I am still deciding what one of those modules will be! They changed courses around so it has mucked things up a bit. Oh the joys of decision making.
I hope choosing Stonehenge was a correct choice too, I have always loved it there and get a cool vibe from it so that’s why I chose it. Oh fingers crossed for it all.

In the meantime, the morning brings my daughter’s annual review, the school suits her everything is well I just do not trust the local authority. I hate these meetings its been a fight against them since she was 3 to get her what she is entitled to and needed, she is now 14 and we are still fighting. The school is great though.

Anyhows I am gonna go lose myself in my book… see where the starks, lannisters and targyreans, prob spelt wrong take me tonight.

Personal blog and gaming blog, to be or not to be?

Published April 28, 2014 by tenderleaf

Ok so I can’t sleep, 2.15 am I am hurting and waiting for meds to work. And I am wondering if I should split my blog into a gaming one and a personal rambling one. I have obviously noted since I have not been playing as much recently, real life seems to be taking over the blog.  Is this a good thing or not? I am not sure. I know when I go on holiday I will have lots of me stuff to post like the days out I have been posting. Do ppl in the guild really wanna see all that? I know not many read the blog but still…. hmm decisions. All thoughts welcome.

Well today we ventured into tge big wide world to Scotney castle and Knole park. I took some really pretty pictures, knole park would be wonderful on a hot day.
So here we go.

Superhero films and me.

Published April 26, 2014 by tenderleaf

Ok so I admit it, I am a superhero fan. Only certain ones though… I was watching S.H.I.E.L.D. earlier and then Man of steel and it got me to thinking I have always loved the idea of superheroes.  I mean the old Clark Kent/Superman when it was Christopher Reeves was sexy but this just really hits those buttons.

Then we can move onto Thor, I mean seriously who wouldn’t 😉

And then Wolverine… mmmm look at those muscles and hairy chest lol.

image

My favourite will always be superman I think, although muscles and hairy chests what can I say…. I am looking forward to Pompeii coming out lol… Jon Snow wearing hardly anything, I will have a slice of that please lol. I would like to point out at this juncture that obviously they all modeled themselves on my husband, however my husband got bored with everyone looking like him and plumped up.. kept the hairy yummy chest though lol.

And that concludes my random mutterings… now you all know I like hairy chested muscle men superheroes.  Yay.

Reading.

Ok so finally I have started reading game of thrones, I have the whole collection I just couldnt get past the first chapter. But seems I am into it now. I think it is going to be one of those book series that is hard to put down. Well I love the tv series, I haven’t bought it yet as I have a tendency to like buying the completed collections.  I am not reading it on kindle either although we do have it on e-book. Sometimes you have to read a real book in your hands. Actually turn pages and smell the print and glue. I love the smell of books, particularly old books.  Did you know they did research and the smell if old books, I mean the really old dusty smelling books were found to have a mould in them that gave off that smell and acted as a sort of happy drug lol. So beware really old books if you happen to wander into a old dusty library. 🙂 so now I am rambling on, I blame the painkillers.

And on another note I bloody hate my internet and cannot wait until my switch to sky goes through.. rant over lol.

Ok then.

Well this blog post is more about me…what have I been upto, I haven’t been on rift much the last few days as I have been busy and things are likely to get even busier. It is the end of my first course and I have 2 assignments to do. One of those assignments decides whether I pass or not. I really should be cracking on with it but I just haven’t had the willpower to get motivated.  Its hard when you are writing about something you are not interested in.

On a more pleasant note, I am trying to book our summer holidays.  We have saved for ages so we can have 2 weeks abroad in Tunisia and 2 weeks in either Cornwall or the highlands of Scotland. I really like the idea of Scotland.
My daughter doesn’t cope well with extended school holidays, this year has been particularly bad with all the bullying and having to get police involved,  so the plan is to go away so we arent here for there to be trouble and to keep her very occupied.

I have been taking some photos of what my silly husband has been upto with flossie. Baseball cap anyone?

And in rift I would like to share a pic of me and hubby’s avatar’s looking cute lol.

Hmm bit dark but oh well.

Decisions, ramblings and musings.

Published April 22, 2014 by tenderleaf

Well… today I decided I do not want to get to 60 as I near lvl cap I get nervous and don’t want to hit it. It is lije this in wow too. It’s true I am an altaholic. I love seeing that levelled up notice or the golden flash. When I reach lvl cap I feel like I have nothing to do I am not a raider I hate dailies and rarely do them.. 2 exceptions were the netherwing dragons and cloudserpent. I am a mount whore in wow… and a vanity pet collector.
So I made a decision to make a new mage, some people may think it bizzare when I am 54 on Tender. I have a dwarf thing going on at the mo and really like mage, so we will see which I prefer!
She is in the guild… ty guys.
Here she is Leafies Sister, I have the story all planned hehe.
