Published June 28, 2014 by tenderleaf

Ok so I bit the bullet and i have bought Wildstar, thought i would give it a go as I have been hearing and reading good reviews 🙂 the hamster wheel is running really fast to dowload it for me in the background. Hopefully i will get to try it tonight…now i have to decide what to be, oh decisions decisions.

In other things, I have my tattoo getting done on Tuesday, I am pretty psyched about that gonna sting a bit but it will be worth it. So thats it a nice short sweet post, now i gotta go and find a server to play on and do some reading up on the game.

Summer solstice.

Published June 24, 2014 by tenderleaf

Well we travelled to Stonehenge on Friday for the Solstice, after arriving at our cabin that we had booked for the weekend we had a quick rest which involved me washing my hair and us all downing a cuppa. We wanted to be at the stones for sundown which was at around 9.20pm. We parked at the disabled car park so my mum could get a lift up we decided to walk there…oops!

image

It was the furthest car park away on account of the bus transfers, it was about a mile and a bit away luckily we left enough time to get there. It took roughly 20-25 minutes to walk to the stones, it was worth the walk though. Once there we found my mum who had claimed a spot fairly close to the stones.

image

The atmosphere was alive, my daughter and hubby went to the stones first I shortly followed after sorting the bags. It was packed but everyone was in good spirits, feeling the stones and dancing to the drums. My mum and I took the obligatory selfie 🙂

image

Then my daughter in between watching the drummers decided it was selfie time

image

And of course with me

image

And again.. little miss crazy eyes.

image

After this the sun started setting, which looked lovely

And this..

So then it really started filling up, I took some pics of my daughter at tge stones

image

Thats her sulky teen look lol.
We stayed with the crowd till about 1.30 then got the bus back to the car for a couple of hours to warm up. We went back up just before dawn, so many ppl were there, they reckon 37000 ppl turned up.
I didn’t get many good pics of dawn sadly on my phone, I will hunt out some from the other cameras though. We left just before the sun rose fully it was too busy and too many drunk/drugged ppl for it to be safe for my mum or daughter. My mum was using a stick unsteady on her feet.
So we got some sleep at the cabin and had a laxy afternoon.
This was my view

And

image

I can honestly say I could have stayed listening to those ducks forever. I just felt the stress ease away.
Just before we came home we did the official look at stonehenge.
There was a druid ceremony taking place.

image

And then there were more selfies lol

image

And some pics at the huts they have made there

image

Gotta add these

It was a brilliant weekend and if I get my way I will be going back for winter solstice.
Walking around the day we left in the relative peace and quiet you teally can feel the aura of the place or spirit…well I can anyway, a truely beautiful place. Now I gotta go through all my other pics. 🙂
Hope you enjoyed.

Tattoo’s and my take on them.

Published June 14, 2014 by tenderleaf

Well, time for a different kind of post now summer is here I wear strappy tops and my tattoos are in full view. I get some disapproving looks and some lovely comments, in case you are reading this and didn’t know I am a woman.
I am heavily covered in tattoo’s, well in some peoples eyes that is how they see me. In my eyes they are part of me so I do not really register them anymore. I have a few select ones..well OK more than a few. Let’s list I have a Buddha on a lotus flower sitting against a cherry blossom tree on my back, An Autism ribbon on my right upper  arm, and a lizard amongst some flowers on my lower left inner arm close to the wrist. All of them I thought about carefully before getting. I also have a half sleeve which goes across onto my shoulder/upper chest, its classy in my eyes, I have Quan Yin who is the goddess of healing surrounded by an Asian dragon amongst waves. At the base it has a pentagram made to look like part of a flower attached at the sides by sorta vines. A lotus flower on waves on my shoulder/chest all joined together by clouds butterflies and cherry blossoms all in bright colours. All of my tattoos have colour, I am a colourful person and like to reflect this.

One thing i will say is Tattoo’s are addictive, something about the dragging of needles and the satisfaction of what you get afterwards.
I have spent hours getting inked, my half sleeve/chest piece took 14 hours to complete that was split into 2 day sittings 7 hours each, my back took 5 hours, my lizard was 2 hrs and my ribbon was 2 and a bit. I now have another tattoo booked in for the 1st July. My lower inner right forearm, hopefully it will be completed in 3 hrs. One thing I will say is there is a reason behind every single tattoo I have. They are all custom for me. The latest one is no different it too has a reason for being. So whether you hate tattooed women or love getting tattooed be great to hear your views.

True blood

Published June 11, 2014 by tenderleaf

Well finally finished season 6 and omg Eric naked sunbathing…
image

well true blood really is a bit of a drool fest well that season was, lets list Eric, Warlow and Alcide. I get annoyed though the amount of full frontals women get but the men don’t.  Not that I really wanna see their bits but with the amount of shifting and blood drenched Bill this season I think its double standards. Especially in a show as depraved as true blood. So that was a tad diverted… Eric better be in season 7 or I will not be impressed. This year also brings season 10 of supernatural considering it was supposed to stop at season 5, Seriously glad they didn’t. On the book front I am tempted to read Fifty shades again, it’s amusing. Although may be better to wait for the beach in Mexico for that lol. We went to Turkey the year those books came out and all you saw around the pool were women with those books.. brilliant lol. My husband isn’t very impressed the film is released on valentine’s day, which is our wedding anniversary so guess what we will be going to see lol.
Anyhows enough of my ramblings.  🙂

Well hello blog.

Published June 8, 2014 by tenderleaf

As the title suggests I haven’t blogged for a while. My game playing is fairly non existent at the moment, I have however been catching up with the series of programmes that I have neglected. We have been watching Intelligence, a guy has a chip inserted in his head and can access any electronic device or file anywhere. Actually really good…only to find they cancelled it. Not impressed. Once upon a time we are up to date with.. fave char of course Rumplestiltskin.  Supernatural..oh yes give me Dean anytime lol.
And oh yes this meme is true he has been a very welcome distraction at times.

image

But at the moment we are on True Blood. Season 5 episode 7 hoping to get through the rest. Nothing like a bit of vamp action! Sookie is decidedly annoying I have read most of the books, they haven’t really stuck to the plot *surprised NOT* Eric is still pretty yummy though.

image

Lol didn’t really know what to blog about but wanted to write something. Lol this is what happens when I have free time. I have been showing my daughter how to upload her running commentary to her games to youtube, I haven’t seen them but will be interesting to see what she has been upto.
So anyhow thats enough of my ramblings for now.

So downloading again.

Well downloading eq2 as we speak, as I am in a dry spell I may as well flit between games see what comes out. It will probably take what seems like an eternity.  I am listening to my daughter playing her xbox games upstairs… lovely language they use these days.

My husband who is really suffering from a trapped nerve in his neck which is affecting his arms and back has discovered a way to help take his mind off of it. His pain killers aren’t working so he has taken up looms! The new kids sensation lol. Heres what he made me… it does not include the creations he made himself.

image

Must admit I wouldn’t expect anything less from my hubby 🙂

image

I sat and watched him painstakingly seperating all the colours into individual piles… urgh idea of doing that puts me off. As you can tell I do not have a ordered mind lol.
