NBI Poem #2

Published May 4, 2014 by tenderleaf

Ok so here is my next entry.

Blink.

She blinks, shielding her glassy stare,
Lazily she stretches, without a care
She stalks, quietly waiting to pounce,
As she waits, measuring each ounce
She smiles, just a little inside,
As the mouse scurries, nowhere to hide
She grabs, that mouse is in trouble,
A splish splash, the cauldron does bubble
She turns, her hands softly stroke,
Her familiar, a bond never to be broke.
